The AN Hotel Giulio Cesare Rapallo, a historic Art Nouveau building located opposite Rapallo’s tourist harbour, is preparing to reopen its doors in spring 2026. This famous building, built in the early 1900s, is currently undergoing renovation by AN Hotels, a rapidly expanding Italian hotel chain. The hotel, which will be renamed AN Hotel Giulio Cesare Rapallo, represents an important acquisition for the group and marks a decisive step in its growth strategy.
A restyling in an elegant and contemporary key
The renovation project aims to preserve the Belle Époque-style elegance of the structure, while modernising the interior spaces to meet the needs of contemporary travellers. The renovation project, already underway, represents a major investment in Rapallo’s historical-architectural heritage. The renovation, which will affect the entire structure of approximately 2,000 square metres, divided into 4+1 floors, will carefully preserve the fascinating style, enriching it with modern solutions to meet the needs of the most demanding guests. The interiors will reflect a contemporary design inspired by the colours of the Mediterranean, creating a harmonious continuity with the surrounding seascape.

The new AN Hotel Giulio Cesare Rapallo will offer 19 accommodation units, including:
- 7 flats;
- 3 junior suites;
- 7 suites with balcony, garden or terrace;
- 2 super-apartments with terrace, solarium and whirlpool.
All units will be equipped with high-level amenities, including air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, smart TV, safe, and coffee and tea facilities. Guests will enjoy a rooftop terrace with views of the Tigullio Gulf and an elegant bar/lounge with garden.
